Our Beliefs

We believe in a handmade-ecofriendly world. Our instruments are carved from a selected special grade of stainless steel made in Thailand.

Start everything from sheets of metal in our small studio, we form them to a shell mostly by hands and basic machines, then carefully create every detail including thickness control, precise shaping, and tuning technique to produce instruments that have the characteristics of great timbre, stability, and playability. Most of our MUTA is custom-made by order in very small numbers.

Our productions are also based on sustainability which reduces environmental impacts, conserves energy, and makes a safe workplace.

Base in Chonburi, Thailand.

Here at Muta Sound Sculpture we have been creating quality handpans since 2018. Starting by us, handpan artists in Thailand known as “Honon” in 2015 (Solos Sirichote and Rattaporn Boontongdee). We began our steel journey follow by our fascination on this sound sculpture.

How to order MUTA handpan?

1. You can write us a direct email to mutasoundsculptures@gmail.com with your desired scale or idea and we can see what we can do for you. Please provide these information,

• Your Name

• Your Email Address

• Shipping address.

• Your choice of scale/size/number of notes and any other requests you may have if you wish to do so. If it is a custom scale please inform every note clearly.

2. We will reply and let you know when we can start building your handpan, no deposit money needed.

3. We will contact you to confirm again before start building. The making time is +- 1 month, after everything is completed we will send you a video of your instrument or if possible you can test the real instrument to check the sound and everything before completing payment.
